How do I create a team?
After creating a coach account, tap the "+" button on the home screen and choose "Create Team." Enter your team's name, sport, season, and town, then invite players using their parent's email or phone number.
How do parents and players join a team?
Once a coach adds a player to the roster, the parent receives an invitation by email or text with a join link or 6-digit code. They can install the app, create an account, and use the code to connect to the team. Players age 13+ can also join directly using a code shared by their parent or coach.
How do I send an announcement?
Coaches can send announcements from the Messages tab. Tap the announcement icon, write your message, and it will be delivered to every parent and eligible player on the team via push notification, email, and (if enabled) SMS.
How do RSVPs and attendance work?
When a coach creates an event (game or practice), each player on the roster can mark themselves "Going," "Maybe," or "Can't make it." Coaches see a live tally and can mark final attendance after the event.
How do I turn off text-message notifications?
Open the app, go to Settings → Notifications, and toggle off SMS for any category. You can also reply STOP to any TeamGoat text message to unsubscribe immediately.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link valid for 1 hour.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently removes your profile and removes you from all teams. If you're the owner of a team, please transfer ownership to another coach first or the team will be deleted along with your account. You can also request deletion by emailing support@getteamgoat.com from your account email.
How much does TeamGoat cost?
Parents and players use TeamGoat for free. Coaches and team owners pay a flat $500 per team, per season. Billing is handled securely through Stripe.
Is my team's data private?
Yes. Team rosters, schedules, and messages are visible only to invited members of that team. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
